KIL - A MUST SEE MOVIE

I have never seen the trailer, so I didn't have any expectations for KIL. I saw this film on Friday night with no history of the story. But it turns out to be so good! I was thoroughly impressed. Plot yang sangat different. It's about suicide. Something Malay movie rarely does.

Akil or KIL (hence the title) is a story of depression. He is so depressed he wants to kill himself. But several attempts failed and he seeks help. That's it.

The movie gives you a feeling of awe and mystery. It's a work of art. The cinematography was outstanding, breathtakingly shot, brilliant. Seriously cantik. Gambar-gambar bokeh gitu la lebih kurang. Hehe.

Very pleasant for the viewing eye. I love the colour tone. Very dark and brownish. It goes well with the theme. Possibly below is my favorite shot ever.

Awal-awal cerita buatkan kita fikir, apa tekanan atau depresi yang Akil rasa sampaikan dia tergamak nak bunuh diri.

And it is a story of searching for what one desperately needs (suicide) and as soon as it comes within reach, he is just realised life is too beautiful to be wasted. Thanks to a very mysterious girl named Zara (Christina Suzanne Stockstill).

Oh Redza Minhat. He's a great (and by that I mean HOT) actor. Macam ada gula dekat muka dia. Hehehe. Manis sungguh. His facial expressions are priceless. How tall is he btw? Nampak sangat segak with suit and tie. Sobs. Kaki panjang, so kacak. He's now working at Bank Negara. Can I submit my resume there by any chance? Hahahahah. Dengar-dengar rumours, he is one of the panel untuk interview kat Bank Negara ok. Hahaha. Tak dapat kerja pun takpelah. Janji dia interview, boleh camtuh?? Tsk. Sangat withdrawal syndrome. Rasanya dia ni memang berlakon sebab passion. So natural and effortless. Tak macam berlakon ok. Sampaikan rasa macam, ada ke lelaki macam Akil ni in real life? Successful, alone and lonely. Hahaha. Poor thing kan? Memang takde lah kot. Back to reality please Fida.

Last picture ni masa ending. So sweet. Sampai sekarang duk ingat dialog how?? Time ni Redza Minhat senyum terpaling manis uols. Maunya tak ingat. Hahahaha. Pengsan.
