Lihatlah doniaaa. Haha ;p
Freezing cold winter. But I loved it anyway. Why?
Simple answer. We don't have weather season in Malaysia other that hot and humid all the year through. Oh kejap, ada lagi season lain. Rainy season and durian season? Hahaha. I'm not a durian lover though.
So, after 26 years of waiting...
I first experienced the wonder of snow actually falling from the sky. In fact, I remember those first flakes very clearly. What a truly magical experience. Well, you get to have lots of new experiences when you travel, and while there's nothing especially deep and meaningful about seeing snow fall, it made a lasting impression on me. Sometimes, things I took for granted but others experienced very rarely. Like seeing the ocean, something I do at least several times a year. And others only do that after a long, tiring trips in cars or planes. Anyway, if you dah biasa dengan snow or live in a snowy country and see a stranger going slightly crazy in falling snow, consider the idea that they might be someone just like me. So, that's enough of that. Now Kak Pida nak cerita pasal Nami Island pulak. My second trip actually. But of course the first visit to Nami will always be remembered. I did all my "things to do in Nami" during my first visit. Contoh macam cari first kiss location. Hehe. Siapa yang tengok and minat Winter Sonata je yang ada this feeling. Sorry to non-fan. Tapi ada satu benda lupa nak buat. Bicycle ride! Harap-harap boleh try next month. Pray hard. Nami Island ni a bit overrated but a trip to Korea is not complete without a visit to the Nami Island baby. Trust me. Click HERE for previous entry. 10 FEBRUARY 2012 (Con'td) So on our way back to Anguk subway station, ada few things that caught my attention;
BBQ Chicken. Pernah makan? Ada kedai ni dekat Malaysia. Dulu masa dekat Matric UIA, pernah la makan dekat Jaya One, PJ. Tapi sorry to say, tak sedap. Tak habis pun. Pertama dan terakhir la tu makan kat situ. Jangan buat perangai nak try makan kat Korea sana ok? Ayam tak sembelih tu. Hehe. I'm really not into Korean food. Not to my liking.
Hehehe. Little Jakob's. Coffee Unlimited. See the poster. Like a diva. Low caffeine, deep aroma and rich crema. Me likey.
Rasanya harga dia quite reasonable. 4,000 KRW = RM12 for hot Caramel Macchiato. Lebih kurang Starbucks je. The most expensive coffee yang pernah rasa kat Korea sana adalah dekat kedai COFFEE PRINCE. Menangis nak bayar. Satu cup, small cup RM24. Pengsan! We wanted to share at first tapi kedai tu tak amalkan konsep sharing is caring. Sebab maybe dulu tempat tu pernah jadi shooting location kan, so memang siapa yang masuk kena beli coffee uols! Mana weols tahu. Sigh.
Interior design. So very Korean. Tired, but happy! Tengok, I memang suka lentok! Haha. Penat menapak naik bukit turun bukit!
Kamsamhamida oppa tangkapkan gambar! Dalam kedai ni, kami ber-6 je yang ada masa tu. Memang dia pasrah je la layankan semua benda. Top notch services! Kudos. Lepas dah puas duduk minum kat sini, moh la kita. Perjalanan masih jauh ye nak ke Nami Island. Ni still dekat Bukchon, Seoul. So before keluar, tanya balik oppa kedai ni macam mana nak pergi Anguk station. Dah dekat dah pun rupanya.
Ok, ada 3 cara sebenarnya nak pergi Nami Island ni by public transport.
Masa pergi tu we took normal train. Duration, almost 2 hours. Sempat terlelap beround-round! Haha. Tapi sekarang ni ada macam express train called ITX. Boleh la kalau nak try. Jimat masa. 45 minit je untuk sampai ke Nami Island. Tapi cost mahal sikit dalam 5,000KRW. Normal train dalam 2,000KRW. Kalau time constraint, sila pilih ITX. Bus memang totally not in our list sebab bus tu depart from Seoul at 9.00 am and balik pukul 4.00 pm. Pagi-pagi buta lah pulak kan. Sedangkan ada agenda lain pagi tu. Cumanya senang naik bus ni, tak payah nak turun naik train tukar station bagai. Leceh and jenuh sangat. Dah la agak Cik Kiah jugak haritu. So tiap kali naik train kena make sure semua orang ada dalam train! Tapi kadang-kadang yang selalu tertinggal kat belakang adalah iolsss! Sigh. Kena langgar time berjalan tu dah selalu sangat. I've lost count. Haha. Sangat berangan tak tentu pasal. Otak melayang je.
Since haritu dah dekat Anguk Station, macam mana nak ke Nami Island from sini?
Helwa, the map master. Hehe. Memang dia je lah yang sangat alert. Orang lain? Either berborak or layan perasaan. Sila jangan duduk kat tempat yang weols duduk tu. Untuk disabled people ONLY. Sobs. Serious tak perasan. Nak tau bila perasan? Esoknya! Sebab esoknya my friend, Maya duduk dekat tempat yang macam ni lah, sekali ada haraboji bertongkat bagai tegur sambil tunjuk gambar kat tepi tu. Nyorok bawah kerusi dah Maya lepas tu. Dia kata dia malu. Hahahaha. Gambar sebelah kanan pulak, ni dah dekat Jungang line, train versi komuter yang tak berapa nak ramai orang naik. Since jauh sangat nak sampai Nami kan, sampai tertido-tido dibuatnya. Lentok habis dekat sorang Korean ni. Cantik handbag dia, Coachie Coachie, I is jelly. Semua bantai tidur ok. Asal boleh je kat mana-mana pun. Memang penat sangat. Penat jalan satu hal, penat borak satu hal, penat gelak pun satu hal jugak! Keke. Jumpa kerusi and terus terlelap. Tak tahu siapa la yang rajin tangkap gambar ni. Takde kerja la tu. Hehe. Bila dah sampai Gapyeong station ni, take any cab and bagitahu ahjushi driver tu and kata nak pergi Nami Island. Tak ingat berapa cost dia. Tapi tak mahal sangat kot sebab kalau mahal, sure sampai mati akan ingat. We reached Nami around 2.30pm. Dah nak petang pun. Sebab pagi dah habiskan masa dekat Bukchon kan. Rasain loh. Memang tak sempat nak guna service shuttle bus ni. So, kalau naik shuttle bus, sini lah kena tunggu. Depart from Nami at 4.00pm. Oh god, I hate heights. Ada ke yang bran? But harus diingat, that flying fox thingy will cost you 40,000KRW. Mahal noks. Naik ferry je la berbaloi-baloi. Nyawa pun tak bahaya. Ferry dulu masa mula-mula pergi 8,000KRW. Tapi sekarang dah naik harga, 10,000KRW. Take note!
Zip-wire. Mintak nyawa sangat. Kalau ni je option untuk pergi Nami Island, I won't go. Hehe. Gigil lutut, I kenot.
So teka atas ni apa pulak? Macam-macam nak boleh sampai ke pulau. I thought there is construction going on. Biasalah kan. Selalu nampak benda macam ni kat Malaysia mesti ada construction! But no it's not. They are not building anything there.
Eh hello, how can they have the flying fox WITHOUT bungee jumping kan? So yes, itu adalah bungee jumping. Ada bran? Haha. I tengok je pun dah geleng kepala. Tapi, Helwa dah excited sangat. Dia pernah buat bungee jumping kat New Zealand yang terjun gaung tu uols. I've seen her video! My gosh. Kecik-kecik cili padi sangat. Dia kata it was fun Fida. Pergi NZ tak buat bungee dia kata serupa tak pergi. Motif sangat dia. Thanks, but no thanks. I is gayat. SANGAT.
On the way nak pergi ticket counter tu nanti akan melalui deretan kedai yang jual street food ni. Ada sweet corn, churros, lagi apa eh, ada waffles. Yang lain rasanya toksah la. Tak halal ayam cucuk-cucuk macam jual kat pasar malam kita tu. Haritu teringin nak beli waffles, tapi duk fikir, takpelah, balik nanti beli. Sekali balik-balik pun dah malam! Kedai pun tutup. Sobs. Sampai ke sudah kat Korea sana tak makan waffles. Kempunan. Ticket counter

Immigration katanya. Funny when they do not require our passport! Layankan je la ok. Jangan banyak komplen. Hehe. Ada jugak patung snow man. Hehe. Kenapa snow man ni sangat sinonim dengan Nami Island?
Meh sini akak nak cite. Simboliknya snow man dengan cerita Winter Sonata ni kan, lepas hero and heroin buat patung snow man sorang satu, that girl tu saja je tarik dua-dua patung tu and suruh dua-dua patung tu kiss. Hahahaha. Susah nak explain. But lepas je hero tu nampak apa that girl buat, dia terus steal a kiss from her. Ehem. I was giggling like crazyhhhh masa tengok scene ni. Their first kiss, so sweet. Ok cukup hehe.
So lepas dah dapat ticket masing-masing, jom la naik ferry ni . Nampak macam tak ramai orang sangat kan. Well, of course la sebab dah petang sangat ni. Orang dah start nak balik, kau baru nak sampai. Hehe. Macam mana tu? Takpela janji kita pergi.
Air pun ada yang dah beku. Dulu masa dekat Beijing memang beku habis. Siap boleh pijak-pijak berjalan atas tasik tu lagi. Tapi still takut-takut. Takut tak mampu menampung berat badan. Mau terjatuh dalam air sejuk tu. Mapuh keras orang Kelate panggil. Hahaha. Cute! Ms. Helwa and Ms. Maya. Kawan kerja and kawan UIA. I love you both!
Hahhhh. Sampai-sampai pulau, penuh manusia. Ingatkan orang dah pakat balik semuanya. Memang nan hado. Nampak kepala je. Orang Malaysia pun ramai. Tak boleh nak beranyongggg sangat. Hahaha. Sebab banyak dengar bunyi bahasa Melayu ok. Masa mula-mula pergi dulu, memang takde orang. Pokok-pokok tu semua kalau amik gambar memang kita sorang-sorang je la duk posing. Best! Sekarang bertabah je la kalau posing dekat deretan pokok tu, sure ada orang lain menyelit kat belakang. Memang dah macamtu kalau namanya tempat orang datang melancong.
Toilet. Tempat wajib pergi ;p.
Happy New Year 2012? Nampak sangat dah nak dekat setahun I've left Korea. Berapa hari je lagi nak 2013! Hehe. Berzaman sangat kan trip ni. Kat sini boleh la kalau nak tulis-tulis nota cinta. Tapi orang yang kita tujukan love notes tu, dia memang takkan baca! CONFIRM sangat.
So, Asiah loves Chansung? Hehehe. Asiah, Asiah, koya (khayal) sangat kita kat sana. Dia ni memangggg sangat die-hard-fan k-pop. Cakap je konsert apa. Semua dia redah. Sanggup pergi airport tunggu artis Korea datang. Menjemput katanya, warm welcome. Gigih. Haritu masa duk cerita-cerita pasal hobby dia kata hobby orang sekarang ni semua keluar duit banyak. So I tanya dia balik, hobi kau tu tak mahal ke noks. Sebabnya, dia tu skali habis untuk konsert RM1,000+!! Beli tiket konsert yang jenis VIP punya. Hayo, angkat bendera putih. I surrender. Hehe.
Hehehe. Cik Kiah kan?? 9 orang semuanya! Jumpa Asiah and her cousins dekat Sangbong station. Memang dah janji apa-apa hal jumpa kat Nami Island but we met them earlier instead. Time ni, memang berharap sangat salji turun tapi semua ni beyond our control kan. So takpelah, untuk mengubat hati yang lara, semua pakat ambik salji on the ground and baling ke atas. Hahahah. Konon-konon je lah tu. So, bersedia la tutup hidung bila lalu kawasan ni. Bucukkkkk! Kalau summer agaknya lagi masuk terus ke hidung kan. Ni time winter pun baunya dah semacam. Tapi, kiut kan mulut ostrich ni. Tajam. Tu yang kerja dia asyik menyondol orang je tu.
Opposite dengan tempat ostrich ni ada The Song Museum. Tak tahu kenapa dia letak dekat tempat yang baunya kurang menyenangkan ni. I don't know what's inside the museum sebab tak masuk. Tengok pun macam sendu je takde orang kan. Lagila rasa macam ok, there's nothing. Maybe. Hehe.
Ada train jugak untuk pusing-pusing Nami ni. Tapi tak sure kat mana station dia. Maybe I should try nanti. Take the train, and the photos in the tracks! Well, you have to admit that you've always been tempted to walk on train tracks. Kat sini macam tak bahaya. Train dia slow motion je. Hehe. Ish sepatutnya kena duduk dekat atas train tracks tu. TUNGGU!! Nantikan Cik Pida buat aksi tu nanti. Soon. Very soon. Hehehe.
Sebenarnya ni macam tasik buatan. Tapi dah beku. Sangat beku. We even jumped here, up and down. Ramai-ramai pulak tu. Tapi sangat bahaya takut termasuk dalam air. Sebab ada certain tempat dia macam tak berapa nak beku. So hati-hati je lah. Ada yang siap terjatuh bagai sebab licin!! Hahahaha. Sakit ok. Bila kat sini kan jadi tak ingat dunia, jalan pun laju je. Tu yang terjatuh.
Cute korean girls. Budak sekolah ni. High schools maybe. Motif sangat lepas habis sekolah lepak sini. By the way nampak kaki dia uncovered. My gosh. Tak sejuk ke dik. Sobs.
Flattened Soju bottle bridge! Apparently this is where the main characters of Winter Sonata first kissed :). Most anticipated snowfall, our treasured memories :) Hmmm, everyday kan when I was in Korea, I used to check weather forecast and would eagerly wait for snowfall. We were really anticipating it, at least today we hope to see snowfall. Sehari pun cukuplah. And one fine day... One fine day... I surprised to see snow drizzling from the sky right on the ground. For a second I thought I was dreaming but suddenly I started to scream and calling my friends and amazing... We saw beautiful cotton candy textured falling on earth from the sky. THE DAY I CRIED HAPPILY. It was really a beautiful moment. A moment to remember :). I or WE actually were totally overjoyed and yelling and hugging each other and screaming and so many things we did together. I can't remember. But one thing I still ingat sampai sekarang, all of us were smiling. Oh happy-happy day. Hehehe. Kalau perasan, I bukak my handgloves. Memang saja. I want the snow to melt in my hand. It was cold like crazy but time tu macam tak rasa apa-apa. I start rasa bila my fingernails hurt, rasa macam dah berdarah sebab maybe sejuk sangat. And my friend kata, Fida pakai balik glove tu nanti kena frostbite. So oklah, pakai balik. Tapi puas sangat. Lantak la tangan tu darah kejap je kot agaknya. Tak rasa pun sakit, seriously. So dalam 30 minit jugak la snow fall ni. Lama jugak kan. Memang puas but I still pray for my snow fall moment again. Winter vacation 2013, bring it on baby. More snow fall, hopefully :). Lepas dah settle main-main kat sini, we had our lunch. Late lunch. Dalam pukul 4 macam tu kot. Ada few halal restaurants sini but since malas nak cari and perut pun dah lapar kan, I pergi tempat yang familiar so I ajak all my friends makan dekat Drama Cafe, sebab dulu pernah makan kat sini. But, memang mintak nyawa, I can't eat Korean food. Pening kepala kalau makan. Mual terus. Tapi semua orang lapar kan, so takpelah. Ikut je. Ada set-set dia. Semua orang ambik set yang atas sekali tu. And Asiah macam biasa over the top, feeling k-pop kan so dia order extra Korean pizza, set no 2 tu. But tak sedap uols. Tapi Asiah duk cakap rugi-rugi tak makan, sedap nihhh. Hahaha. Takpe, I tengok je pun dah cukup. Menu semua orang; rice, egg and kimchi. Menu Fida; rice egg and sambal ikan bilis ibu tersayang! Hahahahahah. Lepas dah kenyang semua, we went to the most photographed subjects in Nami Island; the perfectly aligned trees in Metasequoia Lane. This spot is the very one that made Nami a popular destination. Trees are everywhere in Nami Island, and they are all so beautiful, but this lane is just downright romantic. No wonder a lot of couples are strolling here and taking pictures! Hehe. Oh Bae Yong Joon. You used to be my romeo. Hahaha.
Sekarang tidak lagi. My top 1 korean celebrity now is the one and only ERIC MOON JUNG HYUK! Hehehe. So, banyak lagi kan props Winter Sonata dia still jaga dekat Nami Island ni. Tak sabar nak pergi sini dengan my mom sebab dia memang die-hard-fan Winter Sonata. Tengok cerita ni sampai pukul 4 pagi. Esoknya sekolah pulak tu. Hahaha. Geleng kepala je abah iols. Sebab dia tiduq tapi wife duk sok sek sok sek menangis tengok tv dalam bilik kan. Ke mana tumpahnya kuah.
Dah penat la cerita. Jom layan gambar pulak. Ada banyak sculpture inside this gallery. Sila masuk. Soju bottle, again. Apakah ini uols? Hahaha happy je Azie. Mak buyung dia sekarang ni. Tunggu masa je. Coffee & Tea. Have a break! Boyfriend and girlfriend? Hehe. Berani eh dia pergi dekat dengan itik ni. Antara few kedai yang ada dekat kawasan Nami Island. Banyak yang jual street food.
Ni macam budak-budak muda saja-saja datang and perform dekat orang kot. Best jugak la dia nyanyi. Masa tu we all dah penat and duduk melepak je tengok sekeliling. Sambil-sambil duk layan lagu budak-budak ni nyanyi. English songs ye. Bukan k-pop songs.
Lepas dah habis tengok dia perform, then masa untuk panaskan badan.
Rasa nak duduk depan unggun api ni all day long. Sangat selesa. Masa tengah borak-borak kat sini kan, suddenly ada ahjushi datang. So dia tanya Indonesia or Malaysia? And we said of course la Malaysia kan. Lepastu dia kata, Winter Sonata? Yon Sama??
And I lah yang menjerit like crazy. Sebab diorang ni semua tak tengok pun Winter Sonata ni. Hehe.
"Ahjushii, na sarang Bae Yong Joon shi"
Muahaha. Lantakla grammar ke laut ke tidak. Like I care kan? Tu maksud dia, uncle, I love Bae Yong Joon. Kekeke. Lepastu dia kata;
"Chamkan"
Tungguuuuu maksudnya! Apa dia buat. Cuba teka...
So dia naik menara dia ni, and pasang lagu Winter Sonata uolsss!!!!! Bergema sangat satu Nami Island tu dengar. Sebab speaker merata-rata! Time tu iols dah excited gila dah ni. Menjerit sambil tergelak-gelak. Sebab memang tak sangka! Mampoo ke pergi Nami Island sekali satu pulau tu pasang lagu Winter Sonata! Hahahhaa. Haihhh. Memang kenangan sangat. I even can sing a bit ok. Sebab dulu pernah la hafal kan. Pastu of course lama-lama berkarat.
Winter Sonata : From the beginning until now
"Ahjushiiiiii, kamsamhamida. Cheongmal komawo yo!"
Hehehe. Paham ke uols? Tu maksud dia really-really thank you.
It looks like red indian house kan. But it is NOT. Ni tempat simpan kimchi pots.
Hari pun dah nak gelap. Langit pun dah merah-merah. So sementara tunggu ferry datang, we went to the toilet for the last time. Hehe. Biasala sejuk-sejuk ni asyik nak cari toilet je. And suddenly something happened to me lah pulak. Tsk tsk tsk. Dah sudah! Macam mana ni. Masalah orang perempuan. I don't have "that thing". Sobs. Nasib baik my friend ada extra, so I guna dia punya. Tapi itu satu je lah extra yang dia ada. And no more. So nak tak nak, I kena beli. Lepas dah naik ferry, my friend kata Fida, sana ada convenience store. Jom kita cari sana. Ok so semua orang pun masuk la kedai ni. And I asked cashier tu; "Excuse me, do you have pads?" Hahaaha. Dia reply; "Pads boragu yo?" So now dia tak tahu apa benda yg iols carik! HOWWWW?? Lost in translation. Orang Korea tak pakai benda ni ke. Sobs. Nak tak nak sembilan orang tu semua pakat selongkar kedai and carik benda alah tu. Hahahahaha. Now I blame myself. And diorang pun membebel jugak. Fida, Fida kenapa la tak bawak benda penting ni. But then, nasib baik jumpa!! Kalau tak??? Memang menangis tak berlagu. Well, lesson learned. Hehe. Sampai bilik dah tengah malam, bersiram, dinner and tidur. Bye-bye! Labels: Korea 2012, Nami Island, Travel |
