Lately ni, my favorite pieces of music that are on repeat mode memang mostly come from Bad Guy Original Soundtrack. The music is really soothing, yet at the same time heart wrenching.

My all time favorite, I dah letak that piece of music dalam entry New Year baru-baru ni. Hehe. And this is another one;

So again, cerita ni memang dah berzaman, 2010. 3 years back. Hmmm, there were times I was so in love with Korean drama. Sekarang ni memang lemau sangat. I have stopped watching K-drama for almost 2 years! Lama khen. Sebab semua pun nak letak K-pop. Aigoo. I kenot go! Dah tua kot. I think that's the reason. Sobs.

The main actor dalam cerita ni just returned from his military duty last year 2012. Welcome back Kim Nam Gil oppa! Hehe. And I know him because of "Bad Guy". He really can act. So emotionally charged, powerful, intense, vehement. Tsk tsk.

Ni sebab nak pergi Korea la ni end of January, so memang tengah layan balik all the songs, Running Man, etc etc. Hahaha setiap malam pun kena tengok at least 2 episode Running Man ok. Pengsan! Sangat kelakar nak mamps. And my sleep cycle pun dah tak betul sebab Running Man ni. Sigh. So addictive! Lee Kwang Soo you are daebak! Hahahaha.

P L O T

KIM NAM GIL as SHIM GUN WOOK. Dia, main character here. Well educated, ambitious, very manipulative dan yang paling penting, ada hidden revenge against large corporation, HAESHIN GROUP. Ok reason? Selalunya, Korean drama akan guna childhood background as a motive. It's cliche. Tapi beautifully written.

He was actually part of Haeshin family. President's secret son from another woman. Tapi, suddenly DNA test stated otherwise. So Haeshin abaikan dia. That's the plot.

Untuk balas dendam, dia guna all means possible. First, dia gunakan Hong Mo Ne, Haeshin's little princess. How? His charm. Yes, he really is. Then, the brother Hong Tae Sung, then slowly Hong Tae Ra. Tak reti nak explain tapi dia jenis yang buat-buat baik but ada hidden agenda. Buat-buat sayang la, fall in love la, but there's actually NOTHING.

C O M M E N T S

Revenge and hatred only lead to self-destruction. Yes? No?

What I like most about this series is, the relationship between the main actor and actress. But most of the viewers, don't. Relationship tu nampak pelik. Sebab dua-dua ada their own love interest.

Shim Gun Wook love interest is Hong Tae Ra. But that is one of his plan for revenge.

Moon Jae In (HAN GA IN), she is the main actress here. Her love interest is Hong Tae Sung. Tapi rasanya, dia ni suka Hong Tae Sung purely because of money.

Moon Jae In, for me, is such a realistic portrayal of real humans living in real world. Hmm, entahlah. Orang tak akan admit, or even realise? Intentionally, or unintentionally, we actually seek money?

From initially a totally materialistic girl, dia berubah to be more emotional, thanked to Gun Wook's love . Tapi bila dia sedar semua tu, it was already too late. Isn’t it also real life? Bila kita start treasure something, it disappeared too fast.

As for Shim Gun Wook and Tae Ra, chemistry ada. But I don't feel it. He seduced her, as part of his plan. No more, no less.

I am very impressed, and I mean VERY IMPRESSED at Kim Nam Gil's acting. Plausible and well delivered. Definitely 100% quality acting, I could say. And the cinematography. So beautiful.

Ending? He died. Sad ending buat satu-satu cerita tu lagi memorable kan? Sebab tu I suka cerita-cerita sad ending. Even kadang-kadang pun randomly I would ask my friends if there is any sad ending movie or drama in market. Haha to that extent. And selalunya they will reply, Fida gila. Hahaha. Sebab mana ada orang suka cerita-cerita depresi macam ni. But I love it. All love stories do not have happy ending. And my love story is not a happy ending too :'(.

Ada satu part tu, last scene, bila Jae In cari dekat mana Gun Wook. Well he's right behind her on that piece of paper. I felt sad at that point, because on that big board, there's just one piece of paper which nobody notice and it looks like the wind is going to blow it away. And nobody will ever find out. Gun Wook died, and no one knows. The man stated in the paper is actually, SHIM GUN WOOK. And Jae In, still tunggu Gun Wook until the end. Waiting and not knowing anything. That's just SAD.
