A room with a view - my attic room
Hehe sorry. It has been too long, has it not?
I am now, or at least in the last few months or so, a full time student in Kaplan Financial Birmingham. Which means a whole new way of life, new responsibilities and a whole new outlook on things. Sometimes I miss my working life, my peak period, my tax computations and all but for now, just enjoy your career break for a year, start working again next year.
So, my student life... somehow and surprisingly, it's been okay. It has been a tough ride of course but tolerably so. And Allah has always gives us challenges that He knows we can overcome.
It has also taught me a thing or two. I now manage myself the house (with house mates, Anna, Hanna and my English name now is Norah). Easier to pronounce kalau tak they always confuse, Fida, Vida, Veeda whatevs! Jangan ingat kita lupa daratan ok. Hahaha. My teacher in primary school dulu selalu panggil Nora. NOOR RA. Still my name, kan. Hehe. So, you can call me Norah Jacob now! Hahaha pengsan.
Manage the house or room in particular is a pain at times but gives new meaning to multitasking. Kadang-kadang, it gives me a little insight as to what choices I have to make my room more comfortable, liveable and most importantly, feels like HOME. But either way, I am going to make the most of my life here. It is hard to maintain (all the travel plans, shopping list, and all unnecessary things that I want) but all in all, just live your life. There's tons and tons to be thankful for. One of it is that you're alive, still. Alhamdulillah :).
And I knew I was supposed to blog aggressively here but I somehow got preoccupied with my study. Sobs. Or maybe I am too busy with my travel plans? Haha. I just need to take a break and chill! :). Which is exactly what I am trying to do this evening, blogging! Hehe.
So, recently kan I have taken a very good look at my health and fitness level. Hehe. Gituh! And I decided to actively do something about it. Cuba teka apa? Haha. I wanted to lose a bit of weight (4kg maybe) hehe don't we all? Taknak nanti balik Malaysia orang cakap, amboi gems gems nye uols ni. Siap korang semua siapa cakap macamtu! Haha.
Jadinya, we bought this! Weight scale machine! Hiks. I did put down a target weight I want to achieve contohnya 48kg ke mungkin by end of 2014 hahaha which I doubt so. Ehem. The last time I was 48kg, bila entah? 19 y/o kot? Tu pun sebab makan hati berulam jantung. Kalau tak, memang jangan haraplah. Taknak kurus sangat sebenarnya, sedap-sedap mata memandang je pun dah cukup. My ideal weight is ____. Hehe. Dapat yang tu pun dah happy sangat dah.
So to get the ball rolling, I'll be eating only this! Hahaha mampu ke bertahan? Nasi tu takde masalah sangat tak makan sebab dekat Malaysia pun I don't take rice regularly. Once a month je or maybe lesser. Masalahnya sekarang kat UK ni, chocolate, chips all those junk food adalah sangat murah. Benda tu lah yang membuatkan badan naik tanpa sedar. Takutnya! Sobs.
