3 weeks!

Having everything pushed back and being able to focus on one thing; EXAM. But exams being exams la kan. They have always been difficult and scary. But this is the mother of all exams. Sobs. Kena passsssss please. I'm tired of doing the same thing, twice. Hmmm.

Then, we will be having our family reunion in Frankfurt. Honestly, organizing the family trip for 20 people stresses me out too. But I enjoy doing this nonetheless. The fact that my parents are coming, it makes me soooo happy.

And I have been giving it some thought for the past few days, why do people sometimes treat strangers better than the people they know? SENTAPS! Dan sangat menyakitkan hati. Strange, this life we live nowadays.

Anyway, no more babbles about exams, now I'm going to pulun. Wish me luck and please pray for me :).

Well maybe, life is wonderful.

THE ONE WHERE FIDA MEETS ROSS

Yes, you read that right. The one where FIDA meets ROSS! Hiks. It's a dream come true bebeh!

It has been 20 years since the first episode of FRIENDS aired and we never forget the time where Ross and Rachel were kissing for the first time! Hahaha. Gile!

My most fav scene! Hehe.

And we finally had our first visit to the "Central Perk" café on 31 October 2014. I've always wanted to post up the Central Perk Liverpool photos soonest possible but didn't due to time constraint. So, here goes!

I guess what I like the most about Central Perk is its relaxed atmosphere. Not too crowded, perhaps it was Friday and I could never visualize how busy will it be during weekends. And here's a peek of the inside.

Hiiiiiiii Dr. Ross Geller! Soooo great to finally meet you baby! Hahaha. Ya ampun, gile kau ni. Hiks. I love love love their lovely, lovely interior. They show FRIENDS re-run everyday and some people can even quote the whole 10 seasons! Jeling #anokkelatedibirminghae. Hahahaha. Tu lagi gila. Memang kakiberangan kau ni kan. Ahaks.

It's just SPECIAL. So iconic, even though it is not exactly a replica of the Central Perk from the tv show, but the vibe is very similar nonetheless. And the coffee is amazing too! Cumanya, the service is a little slow but waiting is not a problem for me. Sambil borak-borak kosong je lagipun. Hiks. Dicerca dan mencerca je konsepnya.

Ohh it was Halloween night so gigih la dua orang ni berhalloween bagai. Tapi scary ke masalahnya. Hahaha. Yang jejans tu lembut sikit, FYI. Hiks.

They have some merchandise for sale too! And as a big FRIENDS fan (like most people are), I've bought Central Perk mug for myself hehe.

Sooo, you have seen that orange couch thousand times, have you not? Well of course we sat there for almost 2 hours or maybe 3 hours on that lovely big couches. We could have stayed longer and we even went to that cafe twice, on the same day! Pagi dan petang ok. Hiks.

Overall, brilliant place! So, if you love FRIENDS, this is A MUST.

REALITY

I don't know what to type really. Just felt like blogging. And I managed to squeeze in one lecture of Corporate Reporting worth of studying for tonight. Not bad for one who is sleep-deprived kan? Hehe. Well, things have changed so much. I have to admit.

I can hardly believe that I have been in the UK for almost a year now! It was exactly 9 months ago when I was travelling solo for the first time and my flight transit at Dubai International Airport for nearly 24 hours before departing on the next day to Birmingham International Airport. How time flies!

And I haven't heard a live azan since then. Sobs. But, when I was in Bosnia and Herzegovina last month, I can hear the azan for subuh and probably just that I haven't heard a live azan for almost a year, I found it so wonderful. I think this counts as one of the wonderful things about staying overseas. We appreciate things that we take for granted back in Malaysia.

So yes, I'll be back in 3 monthsssss. Too much about my life in Birmingham that I would miss. And to be honest, I'm not ready to go home just yet! Sobs. Reality hits hard.

Since the last few years of my working days, I have been obsessed with most of the MIMPIKITA's collections. But unfortunately, I just can't afford to buy any of those. Haihh. And... I am quite surprised to say that the highlight of my week has been doing online shopping at FASHIONVALET.COM. Hehe. They're now having a sale, up to 20% off until 16 November 2014. So apa lagiii, go grab yours!

Having said all that, it is finally, A BUY. Hehe. So, I'll be wearing the kebaya top above when attending my friends' graduation ceremony in January. Harap-harap muat la. Jenuh pulak nanti nak kena alter kat sini. Hehe.

I also settled down on a Petra top in orange which is not technically going to be worn here in the UK, tapi nak pakai on my first day at work. Ahaks. Tak tahu nak start kerja tu bila, but one can always dream. Hehe. Welllll, this is one of the signs of going back for good, maybe. OMG. Nak balik dah ke aku ni? Tak puasss! Tak nak balik please. Hahaha. Sooooo lupa daratan kau ni.

And I also bought this Kay El pullover for my winter vacation too! Hehe. How appropriate and universal. One more sign of missing Kay El perhaps? Haha. Not reallyyyyy. Tapi maybe I just miss malay decent food. Laksa, nasi kerabu, nasi dagang, nasi berlaukk haih banyaknya. Haha.

Last but not least, dress kat atas ni pun I bought from Fashionvalet and my friend brought all the way from Malaysia demi untuk #OOTD! Hahaha. ;p. Gigihness detected. Doesn't look like I bought a lot, no? Hehe.

Clearly, I'm predictable. Hiks. And right now, it's half past two and I'm going to have a bowl of maggi tom yam. Yummms. Happy Friday loveliessss.

It's raining today and cold outside.Therefore, I'll be staying in bed with a cup of coffee and a good revision book (Advanced Performance Management) until further notice. Hehe.

Right now, I just miss Bosnian coffee. It's strong, and sweet too. Just perfect for a coffee addict, like me.

Oh yes, Abang Remy pun minum kopi yang sama ok! Hahaha. #pengsan.

And it seems like there'll be many rainy autumn days ahead next week, so please stay safe. Nanti mesti ada suara-suara sumbang cakap, "Kau ingat kau tuhan boleh predict hujan ke tak?" Hahaha #anokkelatedibirminghae so daratttt, have you heard of weather forecast? Duh. Ok dah tu je. Hiks.

I'm feeling a little out of focus. It's midnight, almost. I am just sitting on the bed, doing nothing. Maybe it's because of the cold, really. I think winter is coming way too soon. And I still can't get enough of of the leaves right now. Can you just stay here forever, dear autumn?

So... what's new now? Hehe. I suppose its alright now to talk about exams. And how my life so very literally revolve around it for this whole month. The quiet coziness of a completely empty library during weekends is now my best friend. Sobs. Sooo not me. Haha. But well, study is study. And life is life. Everything should be in moderation. Study all you want and all you can, but don't forget to have fun. Hehe.

And the picture above was taken on my way to Kenrick Library, Birmingham City University last Sunday. What a life, kan? Well, today I thought being happy meant embracing everything. The good, the not so good, the in betweens. Cherish the happy bits.

Ok lah, enough of the boring stuff. On a lighter note, right now I am contemplating whether to sleep, study or watch Kasih Berbisik (Remy Ishak). Hiks. I'll probably decide on a combination of all three. Hehe.

Speaking of Kasih Berbisik, I suddenly realised that some songs are really made for the movies or series. This song for example, Menakluk Cinta by Taufik Batisah, it really fits the story, not in the same way every time. And I'm listening to the same song over and over again. I even have that song in my head. It's beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

And I literally got goosebumps. It has become a bit of obsession lately. Taufik Batisah's voice just took my breath away. Mind blowing melodies and lyrics.

ON THE MOVE

First and foremost, Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha semua. Perhaps my expectations of how the day would be celebrated here was reasonably low, (there's no daging korban goreng kunyit dengan nasi putih, sobs), but at least, I'm glad I have my travel buddies from Malaysia with me now.

Second of all, thanks for the feature Bella Ammara! Bought all the way from Malaysia for this special occasion anyway. Gigih ke tidak? Hehe. And to my photog, thankie! Haha siapa lagi kalau bukan #anokkelatedibirminghae! Walaupun dicerca dengan maha hebat, he did a great job, always. Hiks.

So, well, a mishmash of soooo many things going on these few days. Been on the move since last Saturday, we were in Oxford celebrating our Raya with KFC hot and spicy. Hehe. And the next day we went to Stonehenge just to tick off our bucket list, at least. Haha. Just a batu and it is indeed overpriced. Been there, done that, once is MORE than enough. No more Stonehenge after this ok?

Right now, I am in Prague for a short vacation with Ili and Eyda, my travel partners since forever. Thanks for coming ladies. Appreciate it a lot!

P.S. I LOVE YOU

Just woke up in the middle of the night and I'm rolling (not literally) in a sense of peaceful nothingness. It isn't reflective on how I feel inside, my mind is anything but empty at the moment.

So here I am, blogging again and it brought me to moments not so long ago where I was walking down the street in Wicklow, Ireland. The one where Holly and Gary meet for the first time. But, where exactly the scene (with those beautiful purple flowers) was shot, I don't know. Hehe.

Just so you know, I have both read and watched P.S. I Love You quite some time ago, when I just finished my degree or maybe when I just started working. Lama sangat dah pun kan, I can't remember which scene was the sweetest so I have to watch the movie again before the Ireland trip just to make sure I would't miss any filming spots. Haha.

The only purplish flower that I've seen that day. Sobs

P.S. I Love You is Cecelia Ahern's debut novel which was then transported to the big screen. One of my favorite books, well not that I've read so many books pun. Haha. But I have read this book numerous time. I am a sucker for sad ending story, remember? So this book probably tops the list.

The story always made me wonder how old I was when I first fell in love, properly. Hehe. And if Gary had been alive, would he meant as much to Holly? The book also made me think of the things we keep inside, waiting to be let out. Like the simple gestures of writing the letters to the people we love, or maybe postcards? Haha. Sounds so yesterday, but I do write letters sometime, and postcards most of the time. And I even write postcards to myself quite often. Hehe.

But most of all, Cecelia Ahern has made me remember that love is love, irregardless of time, reciprocation, age or limitations. Hiks. Oppsie, look who's talking! Haha. I blame this love song that is going round and round in my head for couple of weeks. I don't even remember the lyrics just yet, but it religiously repeats.

Finally, I believe in something again. I CHOOSE YOU! Haih the video really made me smile.

It will be nice if Gerard Butler would be here. Unfortunately, I wasn't that lucky. Hiks.

And that's an #ootd photo. Hehe. H&M from top to toe. I rarely wear snickers, but that was an excuse, we were hiking few times in Ireland, so I have to bring proper shoes to avoid cercaan orang ramai. Hahaha.

P.S. I'll be going to library maybe after lunch today to do some works hehe. You know people tell me that I'm a full time traveller, and a part time student now. Hahaha. How comeeee!! It should be in reverse order.

I have been wanting to go on a trip with my 'little family in Birmingham' before I'm back for good next year. With a few things to sort out, Cornwall was a great destination choice, right on top of the list.

And we just had an amazing weekend, away from the city hustle bustle. A total family vacay! Hehe.

And this boy is soooooo huggable, kissable and squeezable. Geram nak mampss! Erghhh. Sampai naik rimas la Aad ni. Asyik kena kiss je, Ahahaha. Rasakan! Cuteness overload.

NOW

I haven't been here in a while, have I? Hmmm I know I haven't really blogged about anything else of late, malas sangat nak menaip. But sometimes you really have a ton of things to write about. And all you want to do is write what's on your mind.

Today I just had some time to myself. I'm sitting here, alone in my bedroom, warm under the covers, wearing the winter pyjama that I bought from Primark last month and with a towel around my head to keep the chills of my ears.

And clearly, these are the early signs of fever. Sobs. My hands are very cold at night and now I'm thinking of sleeping with the gloves on the entire night. Hehe.

Just another small dugaan to go through. Again, loads and loads and loads to be thankful for. :)

Well, I've been busy lately. The second semester is also here and brings its own set of hmmm... laziness? Hehe. But at least it has given me some insight to which battles to fight now. I screwed up my exam last time, but everyone makes mistake. Anyway, I hope it will motivate me to do better next time. A lesson well learned.

And there are few things on my mind right now.

Kimura Takuya
Just watched episode 9 of Hero (2014). It is another on-going project of Kimutaku and I always have a soft spot for this show since 2001. Been re-watching Hero (2001) and Hero Movie (2007) over and over and I still remember half the stuff I've seen. It was damn phenomenal, highest rating in Japan thus far. Kimutaku was soooo hot as a prosecutor and had a VERY good chemistry with his leading lady, Matsu Takako. But, she has been replaced with some other girl in Hero (2014) which saddened me for sure. Nevertheless it is still a good show. A must watch!

Well, I follow him since I was 15 y/o. It has been 13 years now and still counting. Hehe. Where he is, I'm pretty much there, always, all the time. Haha. Keep on making good series Kimutaku! Oh gosh I miss Japan so much! I've spent a lot of time searching for him in Japan last year. Be it in newspapers, magazines, billboards, posters, tv, everywhere! My crush since I was little. Hehe.

I.JUST.LOVE.HIM. Hahaha. FRIENDS has introduced me to OMG-who-is-that-so-hot David Schwimmer? Hiks. Haven't looked back since. The last time I watched Friends was yearsssss ago and now I just marathon Friends series from Season 1 to 10 back to back. Ross Geller NEVER gets old. He looks dashing now at the age of 47! Off the chart! Melting.

Winter trip for 20 people
My whole family will be coming to the UK and Europe in December for plus minus 2 weeks, and yes there are 20 of them altogether! How do I organise for 20 pax you tell me. Sobs. 5 countries, christmas time, boxing day. SUPER PEAK SEASON and erghhh susahnya nak cari accomodation and transport! Still on the planning stage and just bought few flight and bus tickets. Just hope everything will go according to plan. And the best part is, I'll be going to Swiss again inshaaAllah. Winter wonderland here we go! :)

And that ladies and gents, has just made me feel loads better. Hehe.
