RAMADHAN MUBARAK

Since it's the first day of Ramadhan it's hard not to think about family. I mean, it's all about love, isn't it? All I can say is that I am happy and grateful. I'm happy to have these people who know you inside and out, who know more about you than you know yourself are supportive and happy, it makes all the difference in the world. We are always sharing words and advise and it really is one of those important things in life.

Hmmm, I miss my family, I love them. And I miss my mok the most. When I was at my lowest, she was there with me crying and sharing the same pain. My mok, however you put it, is the center of the home. I miss her, and I'm homesick now. So I guess, being far away from your family really has its ups and downs.

Anyway, Ramadhan Mubarak to all Muslims. Here's hoping everyone has a blessed month! And if you happen to be fasting away from your kampungs just like me, I hope you guys have fun just the same. And yes, we will be fasting for 19 hours, very long fasting days in the UK. Hehe. I'm ready inshaaAllah and may Allah ease everything for us.
