THE ONE WHERE FIDA MEETS ROSS

Yes, you read that right. The one where FIDA meets ROSS! Hiks. It's a dream come true bebeh!

It has been 20 years since the first episode of FRIENDS aired and we never forget the time where Ross and Rachel were kissing for the first time! Hahaha. Gile!

My most fav scene! Hehe.

And we finally had our first visit to the "Central Perk" café on 31 October 2014. I've always wanted to post up the Central Perk Liverpool photos soonest possible but didn't due to time constraint. So, here goes!

I guess what I like the most about Central Perk is its relaxed atmosphere. Not too crowded, perhaps it was Friday and I could never visualize how busy will it be during weekends. And here's a peek of the inside.

Hiiiiiiii Dr. Ross Geller! Soooo great to finally meet you baby! Hahaha. Ya ampun, gile kau ni. Hiks. I love love love their lovely, lovely interior. They show FRIENDS re-run everyday and some people can even quote the whole 10 seasons! Jeling #anokkelatedibirminghae. Hahahaha. Tu lagi gila. Memang kakiberangan kau ni kan. Ahaks.

It's just SPECIAL. So iconic, even though it is not exactly a replica of the Central Perk from the tv show, but the vibe is very similar nonetheless. And the coffee is amazing too! Cumanya, the service is a little slow but waiting is not a problem for me. Sambil borak-borak kosong je lagipun. Hiks. Dicerca dan mencerca je konsepnya.

Ohh it was Halloween night so gigih la dua orang ni berhalloween bagai. Tapi scary ke masalahnya. Hahaha. Yang jejans tu lembut sikit, FYI. Hiks.

They have some merchandise for sale too! And as a big FRIENDS fan (like most people are), I've bought Central Perk mug for myself hehe.

Sooo, you have seen that orange couch thousand times, have you not? Well of course we sat there for almost 2 hours or maybe 3 hours on that lovely big couches. We could have stayed longer and we even went to that cafe twice, on the same day! Pagi dan petang ok. Hiks.

Overall, brilliant place! So, if you love FRIENDS, this is A MUST.

A WEEKEND WELL SPENT

I have been wanting to go on a trip with my 'little family in Birmingham' before I'm back for good next year. With a few things to sort out, Cornwall was a great destination choice, right on top of the list.

And we just had an amazing weekend, away from the city hustle bustle. A total family vacay! Hehe.

And this boy is soooooo huggable, kissable and squeezable. Geram nak mampss! Erghhh. Sampai naik rimas la Aad ni. Asyik kena kiss je, Ahahaha. Rasakan! Cuteness overload.

My friend from Malaysia is having a conference in Leeds, so I decided to join her! Hehe.

It actually took me 3 hours to arrive from Birmingham by bus and I'm amazed at how much energy I have. After soooo many hectic days, I started becoming unusually tired on a daily basis. But here I am, with bits of interrupted sleep in the last 48 hours, I blame Kimura Takuya for his new series and I'm hooked like crazy! It seems that my fangirl mode is activated haha and I'll be writing about him in my next post! Hiks.

Now I'm waiting for her at Holiday Inn Leeds, Wakefield. Hehe. And it's been ages since I last had a proper hotel, soooo this one is LONG overdue. Sobs. Gosh I have missed those nice comfy hotels that my firm used to pay back then during our group trip. Sekarang ni, I just can afford a very basic room, hostel, and sometimes, overnight at the airport ahaha. Takpelah, janji sampai sudah. The rest doesn't really matter. Hehe.

Well, the weather here is sunny and windy and we plan to go hiking at Peak District tomorrow if the weather permits. It is sooo hard to plan anything now during transition period. Kejap hujan, kejap panas, but most of all, summer really has come to an END! Too cold outside.

And I think she'll be done in a few minutes so I should really stop blogging now.

Auwww biskut raya made with love! Thanks Kim you are sooo kind. Now we are ready for dinner and they'll pick me up at the hotel in few minutes! Takut pulak nak jumpa boss dia and her colleagues. Haha.

THE SEVEN SISTERS CLIFFS

I am now in Bristol airport alone, in the wee hours of Wednesday morning local time waiting to board my 0805 flight to Dublin, Ireland. And the others will depart from Manchester. Sobs. Reason being, I bought my ticket extremely last minute, so the cheapest flight available was from Bristol. But it's fine. The fact that I'm travelling to somewhere completely different from home and enjoying the experience makes me excited. Just that, I'm slightly nervous about the trip, especially the travelling solo. Do pray for my safe return :).

Anyways here's a bit of the very few words I can think of now (just to kill some time while waiting) with regards to our road trip to Seven Sisters on 3rd Syawal.

Lovely weather wasn't it? Honestly I didn't know the existence of Seven Sisters, so I hadn't done much research. Hehe.

Hahaha. Cuak ni sebenarnya. Kalau jatuh, sia-sia je uols! Ada orang tu siap merangkak hahahahaha. #anokkelatedibirminghae rasakan! Punyalah kau takut tapi gigih nak duduk kat tebing kan. Demi instagram material katanya. Kosser! Haaa keluar dah ayat percakapan seharian. Haha.

Nature at it's best. Beautiful cliffs and fresh air, definitely worth a visit. Seriously I can't imagine dangling my feet there again. Seriau!

Oklah, back to Mr. Grey now. Hehe. And cuppa of coffee to keep me awake. Still, 5 hours to go.

SCENT OF LAVENDER

A field of purple. Isn't it amazing? Fresh lavender smells so good! Wangiiii. Mayfield Lavender Farm is really a hidden gem. A must visit and it's free. I've always wanted to go to the lavender fields at their fullest bloom, at the right moment, at the right time. Just couldn't believe that this place exists in the middle of London! Hehe. Best reached by car, about 2 hours journey from Birmingham. So we did it, finally. Berbaju raya siap. Acah-acah salam perantau. Haha.

Hehe. I couldn't help but smile the minute I saw our picture in Mayfield Lavender Farm. It had such great people in it. They are all my friends who made my life so much brighter here in the UK. Alhamdulillah.

Hmmm I have soooo much to blog on but the brain is drained now. Sobs. Maybe I must finish Fifty Shades of Grey a.s.a.p and hopefully my life would just go back to normal. I'm not really the bookworm type of person but this book gave me warm fuzzy feelings all around. Hehe. It feels like I'm in love again. Walhal... Hahaha.

Will be going to Bristol later today to catch a flight to Dublin so have a nice day earthlings.

Opps. It HAS been a while.

I have been in Manchester for 11 days which is literally 2 hours journey from Birmingham, and so I haven't been able to keep up with a lot of things I'm meant to be doing, hence the not blogging.

Needless to say, that was my second time in Manchester. And it was not the usual travelling around to the main tourist attractions, but instead it was just a visit to my friend's (Nini) house. Well, I don't think I have been this well rested in one place (except for my home in Birmingham) since I came to the UK back in February. Hehe. Sebab most of the time, my travelling days would be pretty full from morning till night.

It was good anyway, for a change. A lot less productive, but there are good things that come out of it. And I should have done this more frequent. Hehe. For starters, I will be doing that in Santorini next 2 weeks! Hehehe. Just can't wait.

And how do I sum up the last few days in Manchester? Sobs. I have no words now, really. But one thing for sure, I've always imagined to have my convocation ceremony in overseas, so finally checking off my bucket list! Ahaha. Acah-acah convo je ni, not mine though. Hiks. Pinjam baju orang sajok. Punya lah kau nak merasa kan.

SHAKESPEARE'S BIRTH PLACE

So now I'm out of school for 2 months and I don't quite know what to do with that. Hehe. But, it is sooooo incredibly awesome to stay at home, berkuntum and just doing NOTHING. Hehe.

And it is amazing to see photos of myself from working days back in Malaysia. It literally feels like a whole lifetime ago. Well, student life is also hard, I NEVER expected it not to be. It is hard physically and emotionally but I'm getting there, inshaaAllah.

Now, I only have one hour before I leave my lappy to prepare for sahur and then zzzz. Hehe. So a quick one, just a little update, we went to Stratford Upon Avon few days ago and that was our first trip during Ramadhan. But it turned out to be an enjoyable visit, surprisingly. Loved it.

Stratford Upon Avon is a little town with many well preserved houses and cottages, just an easy 30 minutes train journey from Birmingham Moor Street station (5£ for return tickets). And it is a bit difficult to miss Shakespeare in Stratford because it is best known as the birth place and home of William Shakespeare. This is the place where he was born and spent his early years where his father ran a business. Thanks to the super informative guides for the explanations! Hehe.

The Shakespeare's garden is in full bloom now, and it is just so lovely. I have taken hundreds of photos of this section and I just can't get enough of the flowers hehe. Lawa.

Haih, beautiful house with wonderful garden, I want! Hehe. Just picture perfect and my personal favorite.

Hehe ni pulak pose menangisi takdir. Hahaha. Thanks for wiping my tears away, Romeo. Gitew. Anyway they have the actors to perform some readings from Shakespeare's play on request and apparently when they were asking me if I have any request, I can only think of Romeo and Juliet! Hahaha tu je yang ahkak tahu dik oi.

But first, let us take a selfieeee! Gittew. So finally, our first trip together hiks. #anokkelatedibirminghae. Penat nak melayan orang yang obses dengan diri sendiri ni uols! Hahaha. So, I uploaded our picture on FB and since all of us used to work in EY before, my caption was "Ex-EYians reunited in Stratford Upon Avon! Do we miss our job? Hell NO!" Haaa kau tak pijak tanah kan caption. Then suddenly the Partner of the firm pergi LIKE pic itu. Hahaha. Pengsan. I want my job back please! Hehe.

UNDER THE WEATHER

Lots of thoughts going through my mind nowadays. Hmmm. But it's nice to finally have a day off. Like today. Had grilled salmon for sahur and maybe later this evening we'll be going out to get some fresh air. Jogging! Haha grilled SALMON katanya, sooo orang putih. Walhal kau sekarang teringin nak makan ikan kembung. Sobs. Kalau dah namanya #villagepeople kan. Hahaha.

And lately, its been a cycle of unusual time zone. The obvious problem here is the VERY long fasting days in the UK. Sobs. Macam tadi, subuh starts at 2.36am and maghrib nanti pukul 9.10pm. 19 hours uols! Mampoo tak? Anyway, one day left then I'm done. Boleh raya dah! Hehehe. This year, Ramadhan is taking place during summer. Longer fasting period but can't wait to experience that.

So ok I felt terrible about my cheat meal last night, hence the sahur menu all grilled and steamed. Haha. And yessss, I had nutella pretzel yesterday! Sobs. It looks oh-so-sinful but I have to have some. Haha. The best pretzel ever tau, kalah Auntie Anne's.

And I am nowww fresh from a bout of guilty shopping! VERY guilty shopping. I love MAC but used to wonder what the hype was. Hehe. Since I have been wanting to have a pink lipstick so bad, its about time to buy. Haha.

This is throwback, my make up professionally done for Utusan photo shoot last year. They were using MAC and I feel bad sebab I can't afford to have all MAC make up. Sobs. Hehe saja letak gambar ni sebab dengar kata ada orang nak tubik Utusan in 2 weeks time? Untunglah kau #anokkelatedibirminghae. Kat sini pun ada media carik katanya? Kekeke. Pengsan.

And I bought Pandora charms a lot lately. Sobs. As evidenced, here's my Pandora bracelet. Look at all the colours, clearly I'm predictable kan. Hehe. Oh gosh I shop like crazy, I should stop. And nowww, I need my job pronto.

I miss the stability that living in Malaysia gave me. I knew exactly what everything was, where everything was, and I was in control. Life since I've moved just isn't the same. And recently, I feel a bit under the weather. Sometimes I had irregular heart beats. My heart is beating hard and fast. Depression maybe? Ataupun panic attack nak exam? Or too much caffeine? I don't know. But one of my house mates suggested to drink lemon tea which I did.

Have a great weekend ahead, everyone. Mine would be hectic and I just need to stay focus on my studies now. My first exam will start on 2 June 2014. Sobs.

Bought fresh flowers for just 1£ after class 2 days ago and flowers really do make me happy. They are so EFFORTLESSLY beautiful. :')

Here's hoping tomorrow's a better day.

Never think that any request you have is too much for Allah SWT. He says BE it, and IT IS. Kun Fayakun. Do not limit the limitless.
